Siamese Dream was released the summer before my sophomore year of high school and pretty much was the soundtrack to the remainder of my high school years. MCIS is an excellent album, but Siamese Dream is a masterpiece and will always be THE Smashing Pumpkins album for me.

Nov 15, 2021 · After a couple of shows, the Big Muff was phased out of the live rig. For the Siamese Dream tour, I believe he was using the rig that ultimately was used to record Mellon Collie. The Marshall JMP-1 preamp to Alesis 3630 Compressor to Mesa Strategy 500 power amp. I think he also used an Eventide Harmonizer.
