2000年2月2日 · When I describe the Thiel CS7.2 to friends, the word that gets the biggest reaction is "simple." Veteran audiophiles protest, noting the big Thiel's multiple drivers, complex cabinet, and elaborate, zillion-element crossover.

2020年6月23日 · A couple months ago I happened upon a pair of Thiel CS7 speakers locally and couldn't pass up an opportunity to bring them home. Bringing them home was a feat in, and of, itself. These are officially spec'd at 168 lbs. each, but they feel much heavier and are very awkward to handle.

Description: Four-way, floorstanding, reflex-loaded loudspeaker. Drive-units (all anodized aluminum, midrange three-layer sandwich construction): 1" (25mm) dome tweeter coaxially mounted in 3" (76mm) cone midrange; 6.5" (165mm) lower-midrange cone; 12" (305mm) cone woofer; 12" (305mm) passive radiator. Crossover frequencies: 200Hz, 1kHz, 3kHz.

2005年2月26日 · I'd be particularly intrested in auditioning the 7.2's with the new Thiel subs. The 7.2's have a better top end to my ears, but not by much.....but the bass is a tad shy as compared to the 5i's. If you have the horsepower to feed the 5i's ( dips to near or < 1 Ohm at times) go for them at the used price of 2-4K...you will never be disappointed.

2008年12月15日 · The CS3.7 is recognizably a Thiel. It has the raked-back baffle common to all floorstanding Thiels, but unlike its brethren, the '3.7 has a curved body constructed of 15 layers of laminated hardwood (not MDF) and capped by a cast-aluminum nacelle.
