Hiking trails - Thingvellir National Park
Numerous hiking trails extend over most of the national park. The trails at the assembly site are quite well signed. Outside the ancient assembly site most of the hiking paths are associated with the abandoned farms of Hrauntún, Skógarkot and Vatnskot, remains of which can still be seen.
Free Guided Tours With Ranger - Thingvellir National Park
2023年1月6日 · Þingvellir National Park will offer two free guided tours in English everyday around the assembly site in the summer (June, July and August). 10:00 starts from Þingvallakirkja church and takes approximately one hour. 14:00 starts from the Visitor centre and takes approximately one hour.

In the National Park, 172 species of higher plants have been found, or about 40% of the Icelandic flora, so variety is not wanting. Birch, along with willow, plants of the heath family, and dwarf birch, transform the appearance of Þingvellir in autumn, and many make their way there to enjoy the beauty of its pastel colours.
