Thor, also known as Donar or Thunor, is the Asgardian god of thunder and son of Odin. During the Viking age, Thor was chained in a cave by Loki, being freed by a time-traveler Jimmy Olsen. [2] . In the Wild West era, his hammer was thrown to Earth by Loki. [3] .

Thor is the God of Thunder in the Norse pantheon. At one point, Thor was attacked by the superhero Shazam who had been corrupted by the Batman Who Laughs. Although he had originally intended to fight Hercules as a test of his strength, Shazam settled for Thor after he couldn't find the former.
