2010年4月24日 · Early build of the Special Landau, Feb. 17, 1965. This is a northern California car. Sold new in the Bay Area. Though now registered in Arizona, the original Balck and Gold California plates, issued to it in March of 1965, will come with the car. It has been repainted, in Emberglo, of course. But the vinyl top and the interior are all original.

And as an aside - the body color codes, I'm assuming z2 would mean thunderbird green body with green top where I'd expect ze for green boy with white top.

2011年3月13日 · Ok, I checked everything over on the car and I'm thinking that it has to be either the headlight switch or the small aluminum check valve. The hissing sound seems to be coming from near the aluminum check valve, but it may be coming from the switch because you can hear the hissing sound underneath the dash after shutting the car off.

2011年4月24日 · I have a copy of an original Cars & Concepts T-Roof sales brochure that actually shows the 1977 Thunderbird available with the conversion. The actual Ford T-Roof option began as a mid year 1978 option that carried on into 1979.

2009年12月14日 · As for the rest of the car, I've taken it back again and again for warranty repair, as everything they did was worse off than before. The "New" air conditioner has worked for only a few days total. I found out much later, elsewhere, that the "new" compressor was actually a junk compressor that was spray painted to look new.

2010年6月12日 · There is a vacuum line that goes to the neutral safety switch. This switch prevents you from starting the car in gear, and is thus electrical, but it also contains a vacuum switch so the parking brake will release when put in gear. The fact that your shift mechanism fell apart makes me suspicious of the switch itself -- or its alignment.
