2023年2月22日 · In Windows 11, the custom firmware on the DP>HDMI 2.1 seems to allow 4k@120hz + HDR to also work, and the HDMI audio WORKS with the custom firmware. For the USB-C>HDMI 2.1, HDMI audio also works with the custom firmware, but 4k@120hz + HDR seems to show a black screen and the highest that works is 4k@60hz + HDR.

2015年10月31日 · Thunderbolt 3 -> DP1.4 worked, and DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.1 worked with some issues, but when you go TB3 -> DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.1 it didn't work at all. Unless anyone has strong evidence of this working somewhere, I think it's wait for a future solution to arrive.

2009年7月24日 · Of course Thunderbolt is better than the HDMI port (for one, you can run up to 6k over Thunderbolt, HDMI on Macs is only 4k capable). But the advantage of one or the other relies on your monitor. A 4k monitor will be the same over Thunderbolt as it is over HDMI.
