This is a CT12 capsule hand built by Tim Campbell. I am the original owner and have owned it for a few months now. This is the third C12 style capsule that I have bought and the best sounding in my opinion.

2018年3月8日 · tim's capsules are amazing in sound, quality control, and build quality. i installed many in many various mics (jfet and tube) and i've never been disappointed. i add that they sound very "3d" and they take eq very well, and it's even amazing how they can sound close to neumann's K49 or even K67, after a little equalization.

2019年4月23日 · Have you tried his CT12? I have a CT12 waiting to be put in a mic made with a C12 copy circuit with all high-quality parts, including Jensen transformer and NOS specially tested tube. But I haven't installed it yet.

I have read that Tim's capsule is one the finest reproductions of the original AKG capsule that is available. The original c12 capsule was used in such legendary microphones as the c12, the c24, ELA m251 and also in the early versions of the AKG 414 solid state microphones.

2019年5月8日 · Has anyone dropped a CT12 into a fet mic? If so, which mic? How'd it sound? Which fet mic would be a good choice to put CT12 inside? I love the mic I have with a Tim's capsule and now I'm considering a non-tube mic and find someone to put in the CT12. Mostly for drum OH, but would be used on acoustic guitar and vocals a bit. Thanks
