Timothy James Walz (/ wɔːlz / ⓘ; born April 6, 1964) is an American politician, former educator, and retired United States Army non-commissioned officer who has served since 2019 as the 41st governor of Minnesota.

Governor Tim Walz today released his revised budget for the next biennium. The revised budget includes just under $250 million in additional ongoing reductions in FY 28-29, paired with small, primarily one-time investments in critical work, including funding to respond to Avian Influenza and law enforcement training.
