2023年7月16日 · Hi snyderprosky, Welcome to the Forum. I haven't been in the Madrid airport, only Barcelona in Spain. I think the issue is such that you have to go through passport control, collect your luggage, walk to the C-1 train, take the 30-minute train to the Atocha train station and then get on your train. It sounds easier just to change planes and fly.

2024年5月5日 · I'm with you on hating to pin down my sightseeing ahead of time, but if you do not buy tickets for those places in Barcelona (with the possible exception of Palau de la Musica Catalana), you will be standing in a long ticket line (quite likely over an hour).

2023年2月21日 · Simply put,, 70 minutes should be enough time to make connections at Madrid (MAD) provided your inbound flight arrives on time. On a single ticket, your luggage is automatically sent to your connecting flight. In Madrid there is only passport control so carry luggage doesn’t save you any time.

2022年3月13日 · For Madrid, if you want to visit the museums I feel 4 full days is sufficient to see the main sights and get a feel for the city. For Sevilla, 3 full days should be sufficient. If you intend on taking any day trips, that time would need to be added.

However, a bus has one advantage: The bus station in Toledo is closer to the escalators that take you up to the medieval section of Toledo. I used the Madrid-Toledo bus and had no problem walking and using the escalator.

You might want to research those movements before deciding about how much time is needed. The bargain airlines tend to be stricter about rules enforcement.
