2009年10月3日 · Slightly off-topic, but Landry's parents named him after legendary Cowboys' coach Tom Landry. It's a unique first name, like "Colt". I think this kid has a bright future at OU. He's not some chump that was signed as a roster filler, he was one of the most highly recruited QB's of his class.

2017年11月18日 · Very , very true Badass.. He is a 15-20 year coach here at The University. Since I saw XmisnTx post and the Eagles @ Cowboys game advertised here it reminded me; look at Tom Landrys or Jimmy Johnsons record their first year at Dallas. And those guys wound up being coaching royalty and winning multiple titles. Great post.

2008年10月14日 · Tom Landry was the head coach from 1960 to 1988 and they kept reminding us that Tom Landry was the only head coach that the Dallas Cowboys ever had. They did that for years until they got so much public ridicule for doing it that they finally stopped.

2020年9月20日 · TMT, terry Melanson had one of the greatest games of any DB against OU. Reagan Genusa was a great HS QB I think between him and Teddy Lejadahl, Texas paid for five knee surgeries. Sure turned out to be a great artist. Joe Bob Bissel (sp). Stills holds the Texas HS record for interceptions. Really small guy that hit like a locomotive. Wish he had lasted longer.

2015年3月20日 · At this point Barnes is like Tom Landry and needs to be pushed out. Landry should have been canned by the previous regime but Tex and the ownership just couldn't do it and left it to Jerry Jones to do the dirty work. Hopefully, Patterson will handle it better than Jones did with Landry. But it's time for Barnes to move on.

Manning has played with a number of superstar receivers while Randy Moss is the only superstar receiver Brady has ever played with. I will never understand the Peyton Manning worship.
