V.I.N. digits 5 and 6 are the two-digit model code. Here the model codes are bold purple. They are from Tomos parts and owners manuals, up to 2002, and actual bikes after that.

Tomos (Slovene: Tovarna, Motornih koles, Sežana, "Motorcycle Factory Sežana") was a Slovene manufacturer of mopeds based in Koper. It was founded in 1948. Tomos acquired a production license from Puch to produce moped models under the Tomos name in 1954.

2023年4月5日 · The Tomos A55 engine is the latest available model, introduced in 2003 and found on all current Tomos mopeds. It shares many similarity to its A35 brethren but has an all new cylinder, piston, carburetor, intake manifold, and exhaust. The engine has a nikasil plated aluminum piston-ported cylinder.

2013年12月30日 · So I just got this old tomos motor that's got a manual 5 speed transmission, looks like it came with an a3 type cylinder but that's long gone, has anybody else ever encountered one of these or know where I can get any information on it?

2017年8月9日 · The a55 is easily the highest performance factory engine that tomos has produced. Although reverting back to a piston port inducted cylinder from the previous reed valve inlet a35, the a55 produces better torque and midrange than it's predecessor.

Three illustration versions abc show the changes and improvements made over time, from 1992 to 2018, with a being the newest. 2004年5月17日 · Re: Tomos 5 HP motor questions... One more question. I want to switch from TC-W3 to air cooled engine oil. A fact sheet I read by Penzoil, for their 2 cycle air cooled engine oil, says to take special precautions not to commingle the two different types of oil.
