2011年2月5日 · Acually Volkswagen AG have never referred to the Touareg as T1 or T2 for the ROW, it is something generated by owners on forums like this and VWoA. The title given by Volkswagen is the first generation Touareg 7L (2002 -2007), facelift model 7L (2007-2010) and second generation model 7P (2010-current).

2018年9月7日 · I have seen a thread here that says T1s and T2s are better than later generations in some ways. (IMO T1 is better because of its less complicated engine.) Despite all the pros of a T1 Touareg, in hindsight, I would not have bought this truck. I am a single man and only sometimes have passengers. This truck is overkill for a single man/woman.

The rubbing isnt on the vents as such but on the slight protrusion - the wheel well plastic has been replaced with a softer material in the T2s that protrudes a little bit more than what we have in the T1s.
