Then go to the place where the small chest is, take the note behind the stone and first use the witcher senses and look at the chest. It should glow with the red color. And only then open it.

Jul 4, 2021 @ 3:25pm There IS a horse race, but it works differently than the other horse races in the game, and it's part of the "The Warble of a Smitten Knight" side-quest. Doing that quest is the only way to do the horse race in that DLC.
