2017年8月18日 · The r151 tailhousings are floating around. I think the 86-87 22ret USA and Canada models were the only market to receive them with an RF1A adapter. I haven't looked recently but $100 was the going price a couple years ago. You can swap the tail housing on most of the pre-1996 R151 transmissions listed above.

2019年2月8日 · Alternatively, I could possibly use a Toyota W56 bellhousing that makes the W56 transmission to the 22R engine, and the adapter kit that goes between an R150 / R151 transmission and the W56 bellhousing, that would eat up 3/4' or so of the 1" length difference to help offset the longer shaft length if I had an R151F with the 7.5" input shaft.

2016年8月4日 · While searching I came across this Jeep guy who was swapping over an R151 cluster shaft and 1st gear into his AX15, so I thought maybe their 5th gear is useful to us. 5th gear on the AX15 is .79 vs the .836 of the R151, so that's still a gain.

2008年5月16日 · now the r151 is from a prado, hilux and they put them into a 79x and 100x, they break down at about 100 000 klm and are a small box compared to the h151 if i am wrong correct me but i have learnt the hard way the h150/151 is a very popular box over here in oz for turbo conversions as they have the reputation to handle the hard work
