O Gauge Track set up - O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum
I have sen two ways to connect the three rail "O" Gauge: 1) All three pins connected to either side of the track 2) Two pins connected to one side at the inner and middle rail, and the other pin connected to the...
Lionel locomotive shorts at terminal track | O Gauge Railroading …
2021年6月16日 · Hi Pilot2fly, that's a puzzler, very unusual behavior. 1) Has anything changed with any track or accessory wiring since you started working on the 38607? 2) Do any other Locos stop at the terminal track and/or trip the Z1000 breaker? If the answer to both questions is no, posting some close-up pictures of the terminal track section without the loco there and another pic of the underside of the ...

Fast track Sensor Track - O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum
Sure, we did that on Harry Henning's layout using Atlas track. You just remove the rails on the sensor track and slide it under the Atlas track, with 1/4" roadbed it fits perfectly when you remove the ties from the Atlas track. Ballast it and it disappears. Also, Lionel is apparently bringing back the IRV2 and the extra sensors, so it'll even be easier to do it on Atlas track. LCS SensorTrack ...
Question on K-Line Uncoupler Track (K-0335)
2015年9月22日 · I came across this K-Line K-0335 Uncoupling Track while perusing FeeBay yesterday (I didn't buy it). First time I ever saw one and liked how the magnet is on one end of the 10-inch track instead of being in the middle. Having never seen or used K-Line tubular track, I have 2 questions about K-Line. Does the K-Line track mate up with O Gauge track, or is it a lower profile and matches up with O ...
Re: Small room switching layout track plan ideas needed
2023年2月12日 · Good question, I dont know exactly but maybe someone here does. I would like to think the track that AHM sold to go with the trains they sold here in the states would be a comfortable radius for it. I know all the drivers are flanged and only have a tad of lateral movement. But its been a few years since I actually owned one of the O scale IHB locos.
Re: The Elusive "Perfect" 3R Track - Would there be any "Takers"
2024年3月1日 · I have a 2-rail layout built with MicroEngineering code 148 track and switches from Signature Switch Company. Operation is absolutely reliable, and I have never had a derailment that wasn't my own fault in some way. I know this discussion is focused on improving 3-rail track, but in my humble opinion the best way to improve 3-rail track is to drop the center rail and go to 2-rail! There is ...

Re: The Elusive "Perfect" 3R Track - Would there be any "Takers"
2024年2月29日 · Following the guidance of a couple of 3RS forum members, I constructed some 3 rail track from Atlas 2 rail flextrack and an N-scale or HO-scale recessed center rail. I used it on sidings and on a long trestle bridge. All was good until I ran some recent Lionel Heavyweight Passenger cars over it. Turns out that the center rail pickup couldn't reach the N-scale center rail (HO rail was ok). So ...
Re: Just playing around with some old Atlas track...
A quick update...in case there's any interest. 1. Dennis: Ha, ha! 2. I've done about 8 pieces now; each one takes about a half hour, as I'm trying to get the center rail as even with the outside ones as I can. Am notching the outer ties a bit to allow for the joiners on that center rail. 3. Here are a few more pix: Thus far, these pieces (sectional track) show they are able to be "broken up ...
