Still debating whether or not it would just be easier to spend the money for a few rattle cans, or get the Sherwin-Williams LS paint mentioned in another post. With more paint, though, I might be tempted to repaint the other implements, too.

2013年12月13日 · I'm looking at painting an MF 135 with Majic paint (from TSC), and based on others who have fading issues with it, unless clear-coated, what type of clear coat would you suggest (lacquer, urethane, acrylic, etc. ?) The Majic paint will be applied with the hardener, if that makes a difference. thanks

2023年10月3日 · Majic is crap. When TSC used to carry the Valspar tractor and implement paint, it was good stuff. Especially paired with their hardner. They switched to Majic about 10 years ago and tried it a few times. Absolutly could not get the stuff to cover even over primer without a million runs. And that was painting international red over red oxide primer.

2004年1月22日 · I see Rustoleum red primer and finish paint next to store brand equivalents at Ace Hardware, TSC etc. The house brands are less expensive. Anybody know if the store brands are the same thing relabeled? Second question - Is alkyd oil-base 'exterior' paint suitable as the prime or finish coat for implements left outdoors?

2014年5月16日 · I wasn't happy with the Majic paint either. Super quality paint doesn't cost that much more. Here's a photo of New Holland Red--1950's red--acrylic enamel on an old beat up piece of farm equipment. Look at the depth of that color and the shine. And it will stay shiny. View attachment 375514
