Trat province (Thai: ตราด, pronounced [tràːt]), also spelt Trad province, is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (changwat), and is located in the region of eastern Thailand. It borders Chanthaburi province to the northwest, and Cambodia 's provinces of Pailin, Battamabang, Pursat, and Koh Kong to its north, northeast and east.

With 52 large and small islands featuring long, white, sandy beaches and unspoiled coral reefs, Trat offers delightful scenery and a number of tranquil hideouts for beach and nature-lovers. The province also serves as a major fruit-growing, fishing, and gem mining region.

Trat, located in the far east of Thailand, is a seaside province famous for its islands, thriving marine life and laid-back atmosphere. Close to the Cambodian border, tourists sometimes go there on the road to Cambodia but more often to go to Koh CHiang and neighboring islands.

Trat Province is a popular travel region in Eastern Thailand, mostly for Ko Chang and the surrounding islands. A small province at the easternmost border of Cambodia with the Khao Banthat mountain range forming a natural demarcation, Trat also has fifty large and small islands, long white sandy beaches and relatively unspoiled coral ranges.
