2009年2月26日 · The Tremec 3550 ONLY came in 1995 Mustang Cobra R models with the 351W engine. I know of no other vehicle that came with it stock. This later became the TKO TKO 500 TKO 600. The 1996-1999 Mustang GT/Cobra used the T-45 trans which has a 4.6 bellhousing cast in and won't bolt straight up to a 5.0.

2021年6月8日 · I am selling the Tremec T170 RTS T170FT-RTS TOD manual transmission with 4 speeds (including overdrive) that I am pulling out of my running 84 Bronco. It is a heavy duty transmission originally installed in Ford pickups and Ford Broncos. It has an aluminum case with an aluminum shift tower with a cane shifter.

2012年4月19日 · I installed a TKO600 in my '56 DelRay only using the front mount and factory cast iron bellhousing mounts with no issues. I had Tremec locate the shifter to the center location to clear the bench seat. Got a cover from Ecklers for the floor hump and used nutserts to secure it.

2023年2月21日 · The RUG code top loader transmission is a 4 speed. The T150 is a 3 speed and the T170 is a 4 speed. The Jeep T170 top cover is used to convert the 4 speed top loaders from side arm shift to a top mounted shift lever.

2007年12月30日 · Has anybody had any experience with Tremec TKO600, T56 transmissions? I'm thinking about one for my 1950 Ford Club Coupe 350 small block power. I've also considered a Muncie M20 or Borg Warner Super T10 4 speed but I like the idea of the overdrive tranny. Give me your thoughts if you've run these overdrive trannies.

2012年5月8日 · The bearings used in the Tremec transmissions will not tolerate the side thrust that is induced by a bell housing that is out of alignment. It will also impact shift feel . Most companies like Keisler require proof of alignment or they will void new trans warranties. Not that hard to do just time consuming.
