2014年2月10日 · The trich or other mold is still there even if the mushroom mycelium crawled over it. It's best to toss it out, but if you're determined to keep it, put the terrarium in an area you don't plan to grow in the future. RR -----

I have a second bag that is consolidated and ready to be mixed in with the substrate. But I want to prevent repeating my mistakes. What are some good guidelines on preventing trich contamination?

2012年1月20日 · h2o2 does nothing for trich and harms the mycelium. It'll help for cobweb mold but not anything else, period. Digging trich out with a sterilized spoon isn't a great idea either. It's pretty much always pops up again within a few days. Toss it or stick it outside, season permitting. …

2010年4月6日 · The box that had trich is probably a goner. Once you see the green, it is already too late. And digging it out probably made things worse by spreading more spores. Peroxide won't really harm the mycelium too much, but it will cause aborts and mutants from what I've read. Also there is really no cure for mold contam. Even bleach wont kill it.
