In her course, “Creating the Dynamic Classroom Environment,” Calise helps teachers develop spaces that keep students on-task and out of trouble. Trauma whether it be one-time, multiple times, or long-lasting can affect everyone differently. We may need to look at our students’ behaviors and academic performance through a different lens.

Patricia Calise. Tricia is a retired elementary teacher in the Pearl River School District in Pearl River, New York. She retired with 30 years of service. She is certified K-6 with a masters in Developmental and Remedial Reading. She has her masters plus 60 credits in various courses.
