2021年10月20日 · Trigger point injections are not painful at all for me, but I also get epidurals without anesthesia, whereas my spouse insists on twilight sedation. Everyone has a different tolerance. My doctor uses a numbing spray at the point of injection and that has always been effective. He uses that same spray if I get any other type of injections as well.
Have you tried trigger point Injections for muscular driven pain?
I have degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis in my neck. 2x last year I had injections. They weren’t trigger point injections but they were steroid and lidocaine. For the 1st time in 40 years I don’t have almost daily headaches that cause me to throw up.

I'm about to start doing trigger point injections in other parts of my back, super excited. My doctors who do the injections do say that the benefit doesn't outweigh the process for some people, especially with dry needling. And some people just don't have much effect. I did 3 rounds of botox in my head for migraines.

2018年5月16日 · It a real shame it didn't take. When they do what they are supposed to do trigger points are amazing. Almost all doctors that do these injections have charts on the wall (some folks think they are just posters) that show the layout of trigger points and the muscles they affect.
