The word "trist" translates -among other things- to "depressing" in Norwegian, Catalan, and German. Was on hold from 2007 to 2009. Trist played its last show in Germany in October of 2011 and the project ended that same year.

2025年1月20日 · In November 2007, I had the rare opportunity to interview Jan, the man behind Trist, a DSBM project from the Czech Republic. To my knowledge, this was the only interview he ever gave. Trist was a defining name in the second wave of depressive black metal, active from the mid-2000s until its final release in 2011.

Is he even still alive? Assuming you're talking about the DSBM band from the Czech Republic, they broke up in like 2013 or something, unfortunately. It's too bad.
