2016年6月14日 · Fun fact for you - we spent a couple of days on this fight scene then a hurricane hit the Baja Peninsula where we were shooting and destroyed the entire walls of Troy. The whole set and the prep base was destroyed and the crew was put on hiatus/sent home. The rest of the fight was completed months later in front of a mini section of the Troy set.

It was a very emotional fight scene, because both the characters are the heroes. Normally fight scenes are between a good and a bad guy, but this is one of the few between 2 seemingly good guys that the movie wants us to root for. Hector's death was very painful to watch.

2015年11月10日 · This is one of my favorite movies. A lot of people rag on it, but the fight scenes were pretty good in my opinion and overall I think the movie is pretty entertaining. Also, Achilles is just a EXTREME bad-ass the entire movie. That scene where he stands at the gates of troy and just shouts Hector until he comes out is just awesome.

Like any scene, it should be its own story with clear intentions and obstacles, it should be dynamic, and most importantly, it should be moving the characters and the plot forward throughout the scene. The best choreographers are sometimes able to accomplish the first two on their own.
