Trygon is good for delivering troops, cheaply, that are going to shoot/charge the nearest unit. Benefit of trygon prime is synapse and that it does more shots in shooting.

2020年9月13日 · A trygon (or prime) is both expensive and difficult to use, but very fun when they work. A mawloc is dependable and very good for scoring points and distracting an opponent, but won't ever really do anything on the table but score vp. I do not recommend trygons unless you are very experienced and need it to do something very specific.

2015年4月14日 · The trygon (prime) has better stats, can provide utility, and functions literally as a heavy support option (it's tough, has a mix of ranged and CC attacks, the prime has synapse, and it can make holes that things can arrive from).

2021年1月12日 · Trygon Prime is great for his ability to take the Artifact Arachnacyte Gland, which gives him a decent chance to actually pull off a charge from deep strike and he provides Synapse for his troops. Give him Murderous Size as well and he is great for taking out both tanks and marines. Regular Trygon is a bit cheaper and the lack of Synapse doesn't matter if he carries a unit of Warriors.
