Zephranthes come in white, yellow, pink or variegated/ I first met tuberose in Mexico, growing in pots with a delicious fragrance. I have grown them in Texas, but they behave as an annual bulb, not lasting more than 2 - 3 years.

2006年4月22日 · From my experience, these tuberoses don't tolerate rootbound condition well. They refuse to bloom in such confined situation. I remember having seen them being planted on a well drained hills with well admended soil for them to bloom profusely. Oh they were in full sun. And yes the perfume is rather strong.

2006年8月5日 · Since I have my tuberose patches in locations that range from shady to sunny to parts inbetween and none of the areas bloom, not enough fertilizer is probably the cause. Water regime is different from spot to spot too, so fertilizing, or lack thereof, was the common demoninator. I fertilize on a hit or miss basis - whenever I think about it.
