2023年6月19日 · Today marks a pioneering day for Belgian aviation, TUI and Antwerp Airport. The first of three Embraer E195-E2 airplanes was officially put into service. Antwerp’s Mayor, Bart De Wever, chaired the name giving ceremony and was joined by TUI Western Region CEO Elie Bruyninckx and the CEO of Antwerp Airport, Eric Dumas.

The E195-E2 jets will be supplied by AerCap in the first half of 2023 and are part of the leasing company’s backlog. TUI already owns four first-generation E190s that were originally received by the defunct JetAir in 2013.
