2008年1月8日 · A single turbo would be a more sensible choice on these 400's... My good buddy just single turbo charged his SC400...It delivers 300whp on the stock fuel injectors and stock ECU... Get on Ebay and get a used turbo, install electric fans to frre up room (flex-a-lites) fab the turbo piping, install an intercooler, etc...

2004年8月11日 · The SC400 engine 1UZFE has different engine mounts on the chassis. To swap a whole engine in it would be a lot of custom work, and generally regarded as too expensive. SC300 guys already have the 2JZ-GE (N/T supra) engine and find it much easier to swap in a turbo/engine due to the similarities in the supra.

2004年2月14日 · I believe the UZFE engine is designed to be supercharged, more than Turbo charged., although the guys in Japan would probably disagree. A few years back, I read somewhere that a tuner group in Australia supercharged the SC400, and made it clear the hood.

2006年7月14日 · In conclusiong: My 1992 SC400 is still running with the stock engine internals and stock tranny and this car is fast now and can beat and or keep up with most newer elite sports cars.. I have researched, inquired, tried and failed with mods over the years and would like to save people some time and trouble by posting this thread.

2005年6月12日 · You should twin turbo it, 2 turbos ,2intercoolers- you can get from junk yard, maybe from eclipes or talon,isusu many choices, 2 air filters and lots of piping, tap into your existing exhaust and of course ecu. Run low boost like 6-8 psi and probably at around 350hp . Any more boost you better look into injectors and fuel pump and internal mods.
