2014年10月5日 · I have noticed that recently my tortoise's shell and skin has been getting dry and I saw Tetrafauna Turtle vitashell tortoise and turtle shell and skin conditioner. It looks like good stuff and I want to buy it but I was wondering what you guys think about it.

You are observing increased "head-bobbing" when they are intrigued by something because they are breathing more, so that they'll have the energy to investigate. It's no different than the more rapid breathing in any other excited animal, including us.

2011年8月7日 · One of our members, Dee from NJ adopted a turtle with an old treated wound that was covered with some covering (can't recall which one of the types used in the past it was). Not long after she took in it, the covering came loose. Once it was off, she found atleast one maggot still alive, after what would have been months apparently.

Both times that I gave the injection some of the medication came out the needle insertion site. I tried injecting slower and putting the needle in deeper, but some still came out again this time.

2024年5月30日 · I also soaked him a few other times a day as well. My baby really enjoyed kale prior to being sick so I tried feeding kale, dandelion greens, romaine and red leaf lettuce cut up small an powdered with calcium powder and reptile vitamins and also gave him turtle eye drops. I kept this up for at least a month and my baby slowly began getting better.
