The successful trainees are awarded the NVQ level 3 certificate by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka (TVEC). NVQ is an internationally recognized qualification, which will assist the trainees to obtain employment abroad, particularly in countries such as Japan , Israel and western countries.

Candidates who sufficiently meet the eligibility criteria as explained in section 2.0 of the circular can apply for NVQ level 5 equivalence qualifications. The Committee appointed by Director General (DG), TVEC evaluates the applications and ensure about the eligibility of the candidates according to the relevant NVQ Circular.
