2021年12月9日 · Neighbor has a nicely sporterized type 38 for sale. 6.5x50 cartridge will make it hard to sell. Rechambering would bring the cost up if it could be done. A couple possible 6.5x55 Swede and 6.5 Creedmoor.

2013年6月21日 · So my girlfriend's father handed me a Type 38 Arisaka (very nice, chrome-lined barrel, looks like it was restocked during the war) and asked me to fix it. Apparently he handed to his friend (a self-proclaimed firearms "expert") for inspection and when he got it back the bolt was locked up. Can't flip it up, let alone cock it back.
