Tsuyu Asui (蛙 あ 吹 すい 梅雨 つゆ Asui Tsuyu?), also known as the Rainy Season Hero: Froppy (梅 つ 雨 ゆ 入 い りヒーロー フロッピー Tsuyuiri Hīrō Furoppī?), was a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.

Tsuyu first appears alongside the rest of Class 1-A on the first day of the term. Shortly after the start of class, Class 1-A is brought to the exercise grounds by their homeroom teacher: Shota Aizawa. He informs the class that they must all undertake a Quirk Apprehension Test and whoever comes in last place will be expelled immediately. [2]
