The TzHaar (Jagex: /zɑːr/ ZAR) are a race of golem-like creatures that inhabit Mor Ul Rek, a lava-filled region beneath Karamja Volcano. The word "TzHaar" means "holy (sacred) fire". The TzHaar society is unlike any other, and only vaguely resembles any that exists on the surface.

The TzHaar-Ket are guards of Mor Ul Rek. While fighting a TzHaar-Ket, players can go into the Fight Caves and die to fully heal themselves and recharge Prayer . A TzHaar-Ket can become aggressive when any nearby TzHaar is attacked up to six tiles away from TzHaar-Ket.

TzHaar are an ancient race dwelling underneath the Karamja Volcano in Mor Ul Rek that can be assigned as a Slayer task if the player has unlocked the perk Hot Stuff for 100 slayer points. TzHaar come in four varieties; the artisan TzHaar-Hur, the sages TzHaar-Mej, hunters TzHaar-Xil and guards TzHaar-Kets.

The TzHaar-Xil is an inhabitant of the TzHaar city. They can be found wielding three Toktz-Xil-Ak, a set of Toktz-Xil-Ul (which they use in both melee or ranged style), or a Toktz-Xil-Ek. TzHaar-Xil are the second strongest race in TzHaar, excluding some TzHaar Fight Cave monsters.

Each TzHaar Monster drops Tokkul, which can be used to purchase the elusive Obsidian Items. The following table shows each item, its price and its bonuses. Some of the items are made from the Onyx gem that can be brought from the city.

TzHaar quest series is a series of quests involving the TzHaar. The player helps TzHaar-Mej-Jeh with incubating one of his eggs. However, despite their best efforts, it hatches as a Ga'al, and is sent away to the Fight Pit to die. Despite the player's attempt to save the Ga'al-Jeh, it is killed by TzHaar-Ket-Yit'tal.
