The Department of Physical Education and Recreation (PE and Rec) promotes healthy lifestyles for the UO community through fitness, active recreation, and participation in sports. Membership is included in fees for most currently enrolled students. Faculty, staff, and community members must purchase memberships to access the Rec.

Student Recreation Center. Monday–Thursday: 6:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. Friday: 6:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Weekends: 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

Gain access to PE and Rec facilities, classes, and programs. Rates vary for faculty and staff, alumni, and community members. Full-time students already have membership through student fees.

Student Recreation Center: The community card is required for alumni; partners of students, faculty, and staff; and community members who purchase a membership through the Student Recreation Center. Craft Center: The community card is required for anyone without a UO ID card to register for term passes and workshops at the Craft Center .
