German submarine U-121 was a long-lived Type IIB U-boat built during World War II for service in Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine. U-121 spent the entire war as a training vessel and was scuttled at the end of the conflict.

U 121 war ursprünglich ein U-Boot das für die Firma Hapro gebaut, und für den Export nach China vorgesehen war. Es wurde von der Kriegsmarine übernommen und fertig gebaut. U 121 war ein reines Schul- und Ausbildungsboot.

2014年5月8日 · On August 28, 1937, the shipyard Flender Werke AG in Lübeck received the contract to build the submersibles Type IIB U 120 and U 121. The construction will be carried out on behalf of the company HAPRO which wanted to export both ships to China after its completion.
