German submarine U-203 was a German Type VIIC submarine U-boat built for Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine for service during World War II. [1] Built as yard number 632 of Friedrich Krupp Germaniawerft AG in Kiel, she was laid down on 28 March 1940, launched on 4 January 1941 and commissioned on 18 February under Kapitänleutnant Rolf Mützelburg.

Sunk on 25 April 1943 in the North Atlantic south of Cape Farewell, in position 55.05N, 42.25W, by depth charges from a Swordfish aircraft (811 Sqn FAA/L) of the British escort carrier HMS Biter and by the British destroyer HMS Pathfinder. 10 dead and 38 survivors.

U-203 was a 500-ton U-boat, type VII C, built at the Germania Werft, Kiel. She belonged to the series of boats, U-201 to U-212 assigned to this yard. The boat was launched on January 10, 1941, and shortly thereafter, the crew began to stand by during the final phases of construction.
