UBC Library has made the Phil Lind Klondike Gold Rush Collection openly accessible through Open Collections, publishing a digitized version of the collection online. UBC Education Library’s collection of French-language resources underwent a significant revitalization this year.

Dr. Xiaoxiao Li is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, a faculty member at the Vector Institute, and a Canada CIFAR AI Chair. Li’s research lies at the intersection of AI and healthcare, focusing on developing next-generation responsible AI algorithms and systems.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and an Associate Member in the Computer Science Department at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I am also faculty member at Vector Institue and an adjunct Assistant Professor at School of Medicine, Yale University.

Guofang Li is a Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Transnational/Global Perspectives of Language and Literacy Education of Children and Youth in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, Faculty of Education, University of British Columbia, Canada.

Li led and founded the UBC Cluster for Microplastics, Health and the Environment in 2021 with a group of outstanding researchers. We study plant defense against pathogen infection in the context of gene regulation, protein-protein interaction and signal transduction using the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana.
