Since 1994, the Utah Department of Transportation’s Incident Management Team (IMT) has provided assistance to hundreds of thousands of motorists on Utah’s highways. UDOT’s goal is to KEEP UTAH MOVING and IMT does exactly that with 28 full time incident management trucks covering the Wasatch Front and two trucks in St. George.

The Traffic Management Division is a division within UDOT that consolidates the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Division and the Traffic Operations Center (TOC) into one technology-oriented division.

2012年1月24日 · The IMT program was started in 1994 to improve safety and assist disabled motorists. UDOT IMTs provide a critical safety function in clearing crashes quickly, helping to manage the scene and providing a highly visible presence to warn motorists to drive carefully. IMT vehicles are easy to spot.
