West campus dorms are right by the ave and are more integrated with the city. They're a few blocks away from the main campus and are the newer, more expensive dorms. As I mentioned, LLCs and EFS can change the vibe a bit, so you might want to look up where those are being hosted each year. On North, there are also the legacy dorms: Hansee, Haggett, and McMahon.

2023年4月3日 · All of the new dorms are going to have pianos/keyboards in the music rooms, but it’s not as nice of an atmosphere. Hansee is definitely also going to be quiet, but doesn’t have private bathrooms. Also, since it’s an older building, it can have more maintenance issues than the newer ones which could be annoying.

I'll give a break down of each dorm: Lander - The Frosh Dorm - The newest dorm, and also the dorm that is mostly likely to take the spot of the freshman dorm.

Otherwise, it depends on what you want. McMahon and Hagget are the cheapest (admittedly for a reason), Madrona, Willow, and McCarty are the newest (and the same price as the dorms from a few years ago), and Mercer lets you have a kitchen, which you share with apartment-mates.

2021年3月9日 · North Campus has both the newest and oldest dorms, West Campus has bigger rooms. North Campus is more woodsy/neighborhood-y while West Campus is more urban. Both are noisy, North Campus from Greek Row and traffic noise while West Campus has traffic noise and loud unstable people (at night, not sure how regularly).

2021年5月4日 · All the dorms are p nice and basically you can choose between the nice new expensive ones and the cheap old ones. LLCs are also notorious for being virtually in useless so unless that's something you're super interested in, dont bother joining one if you find the location of one dorm better.
