2021年11月1日 · According to what I found, UGC 2838 is 232 million light years away. M45 is 445 million light years. I am sure it is just an oversight, but the Pleiades are 445 LY away, not 445 million LY away.

This spiral galaxy lies near the star Electra (17 Tau) in M45--one of the 7 Sisters, which is the large star near the left hand edge of the frame. This is a very aggressive crop of my Pleiades image that I think makes a satisfactory stand alone image.
