We inspire and support children and young people to broaden their horizons through inspirational water-based adventures, education and training for careers at sea. UKSA in Cowes (previously called UK Sailing Academy) is a youth charity offering professional maritime training opportunities, youth development programs and school/ group residential trips. The charity was founded in 1987 by MFI entrepreneur Noel Lister .

UK Sailing Academy (UKSA) enjoys a 4-acre, waterfront location in Cowes on the sunny Isle of Wight and is the perfect location for residential and non-residential sailing, watersports and team building for students aged 6 years and over. Through their multi-activity fun days and camps, UKSA offer plenty of options for getting out on the water.

We’ve been instructing yachting, sailing and watersports for over 30 years at our waterfront base in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Visitors to UKSA range from six-year-old school children to adults and we even instruct those looking to learn a new skill much later on in life!
