The Zoom video conferencing service is provided by UNC and is available to all School of Medicine users. UNC Onyen owners can access their UNC Zoom account by logging in with their Onyen and password.

This article describes how to log into the Zoom Meeting Client with the UNC SSO (single-sign-on), and how to ensure you remain logged in to your licensed account.

Zoom, UNC’s remote conferencing tool, is available to all students, faculty and staff. During summer 2021, the campus ITS Service Desk began managing and facilitating all UNC Zoom user accounts and the scheduling of Zoom webinar tokens.

The web client (i.e. the website accessible from unc.zoom.us) is better suited to adjusting settings, scheduling meetings, and managing recordings. The desktop client (i.e. the app you put on your computer’s desktop or mobile device) is better suited for joining and hosting meetings.

2018年8月31日 · Zoom web conferencing is now available to all UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, staff and students. The University has licensed educational pro accounts, enabling users to host online meetings with up to 100 participants. Anyone with an active Onyen can create a Zoom account at zoom.unc.edu. Onyen login is not required to participate in Zoom meetings.

How do I log into Zoom? If you do not have the Zoom client installed, start by going to unc.zoom.us and select the Download Client link in the footer. The Zoom Client software can also be found at the Zoom Download Center at https://zoom.us/download.
