2010年11月24日 · For the ZR1 with the AC Delco Ultraguard Gold UPF48R filter, the #7 cap-wrench is the correct fit. I will use up my PF48 filters on the Z06 and then only use the UPF48R on both cars as it is a better filter.....then I only need to keep track of one cap-wrench. Fast & Lazy

2008年10月17日 · The Ultraguard Gold UPF48R filter is black in color, has a thicker exterior shell and can be identified as GM part number 12626224. The internal components are the same in both the UPF48R and the PF48 oil filters. The UPF48R can be used in applications where the PF48 is specified.

2012年11月11日 · The LS7 and dry sump LS3 get the UPF48R now for only one reason: they are built in Wixom which finds it convenient to stock only one filter. Plus it builds a much bigger population base for AC Delco to make and sell replacement UPF48Rs for LS7 and dry sump LS3 than just the LS9 alone.
