U.S. Route 70 (US 70), also known as the Old West Highway, is an east–west U.S. Highway in the U.S. state of Arizona. The current route starts at US 60 in Globe and runs through the San Carlos Indian Reservation, Safford and Duncan into New Mexico near Virden.

In Arizona, US 70 runs from US 60 in Globe to the New Mexico state line. US 70 used to be a major cross-country highway that was cut short by Interstates and a redundant concurrency with US 60 from Globe to Los Angeles.

2007年11月11日 · Joining Globe with Safford and Duncan, U.S. 70 is a primary corridor through southeastern Arizona. The highway travels east from Gila County to Peridot and the into Graham County across the San Carlos River. Continuing southeast into the Gila Valley, U.S. 70 heads to Pima, Thatcher and Safford.

US 70 is The Old West Highway throughout Arizona. US 60 also shares the designation between Apache Junction and Globe. The original alignment of US 70 went over the 1930 Coolidge Dam. I'm driving US 70 from end to end, which runs from Globe, AZ to Atlantic, NC at the Atlantic Ocean. Prior to 1964, US 70 ran to Los Angeles, along the current route of US 60 and I-10.
