2010年11月1日 · The ability to tighten the jacket in at the hips make it very warm. I can find no info on these jackets but they appear to have been issued from the early 60's to late 70's. I reckon the A-2 is a great budget priced jacket with vintage appeal and is warm enough, with layering for sub zero temperatures. Here's some pics.

2020年4月28日 · He’s referring to a US Navy cloth deck jacket also designated A-2. I can’t answer the question, label looks legit military to me, but I know next to nothing about these jackets. However the Navy A-2 is quite highly thought of around here, several guys have them (I’d like one myself), and I’m sure somebody will know.

2021年2月19日 · I just noticed if you search for original A2 jackets they mostly have a well preserved shell and a shattered torn liner, but if you search for original navy deck jackets the opposite is the case; a totally faded beaten and worn out shell with a pristine liner.

2021年2月2日 · Well in general I never seen any evidence of a N1 jacket with hooks. Of coarse for the shorter deck jackets there have been these clasps to close them - as far as I know the idea behind was to make it easier to close the jacket even with heavy mittens on. As for the liner I would expect they had in general the same liner like the N1 namely alpaca.
