The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a global environmental organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, United States. As of 2021, it works via affiliates or branches in 79 countries and territories, as well as across every state in the US.

Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) such as Uber and Lyft have provided app-based ride-sourcing services in U.S. cities since 2012. In 2014, Colorado enacted the first state-level legislation to authorize and regulate TNC operations. As of June 2017, 48 states and the District of Columbia have passed some sort of TNC legislation.
