Visit the Battleship, North Carolina Memorial in Wilmington! The Battleship is open daily, rain or shine, and most of the self-guided tour is inside the Ship and protected from inclement weather. Battleship admission includes a self-guided tour with 9 levels to explore. Guided tours are also available for individuals and groups.

As of the beginning of 2024, the memorial and museum is one of North Carolina's most-visited tourist sites. [48] In 2022, the museum had nearly 250,000 visitors and enjoyed the most financially successful year in its history. [48]

In 1995, the USS NORTH CAROLINA Battleship Memorial, located in Wilmington, North Carolina was selected as one of five designated host sites for the United States’ observance of the fiftieth anniversary of VJ Day.
