2024年10月17日 · The official opening of the New Science Building (NSB) on September 20, answered the urgent need for investment in state-of-the-art wet labs, a high-performance computing data centre, and other advanced infrastructure to enable cutting-edge life science research happening at UTM.

The New Science Building (NSB) will transform the sciences at the University of Toronto Mississauga by providing state-of-the-art research infrastructure to attract faculty, staff, and graduate students while catalyzing opportunities for research.

The construction of the UTM science building is well underway. It will provide much-needed wet laboratory space for the campus’s current and planned research needs. It will also provide a world class preclinical animal house.
