Apartment Style Residence Halls. Apartment style residence halls offer full apartment features, including a washer/dryer, full kitchen with appliances.

Founders Hall opened in Fall 2013. It is located in the central part of campus. Hall visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 24 hours a day during Friday and Saturday. Academic Year 2025/2026 rates are pending Board of Trustees approval and will be reflected on the University Housing website by June 15th.

Once your student is all moved in, encourage them to grab a friend or roommate and check out the Welcome Week events planned. The schedule of events can be found at welcomeweeks.uark.edu. Also, encourage your student to get to know their Resident Assistants!

After unloading, we recommend that parents travel to the nearest parking deck to continue helping their student settle in to campus. The closest parking garage to your residence hall is noted on the map. You may not park overnight in the parking deck. Students are encouraged to park in Lot 56 near MLK Blvd. after unloading.

Single freshmen under 21 years of age are required to live in University of Arkansas residence halls or with their parents, unless permission to live off-campus has been obtained through University Housing.

We provide available phone numbers and assistance in finding various campus contacts, departments, facilities, and resources. Interview requests and media questions are coordinated by the Office of University Relations. Call us for non-emergencies. For emergencies, please call 911.

Holcombe Hall is located on the north side of campus near the Law School and Mullins Library. It features a game room, a formal lounge, a piano lounge and a T.V. Room. The hall is air-conditioned and has an individual thermostat in resident rooms.

Hall Directors assist in leading in-hall meetings and are a great source for all things related to what is happening in your residence hall. They work alongside our Senior RAs to help facilitate in-hall activities, meetings, and any hall improvements or new ideas the Lead Hogs may have.
