2019年5月4日 · Well, I have about 20 folks on my route that do not have boxes on the street (except a few) but have PO boxes instead. Why in the world they still have mail addressed to the street is beyond me, and I have been handing this mail off to the PM or clerk for years. I have always put their bulk mail in the UBBM and just passed on the 1st and 2nd class.

2023年2月25日 · What about UBBM? Was told this is not part of the count. Missorts and inverted letters were counted as 1 for every 4 today. Also.. the hold mail for the day should get a piece count as well if under 8 letters, right? And over 8 for the day as an unscan parcel, even if you aren't delivering the hold mail that day?

2022年8月29日 · If you case DPS, hold all mail that you pulled from your DPS that was Missort, Missent, MISSEQUENCE, UTF, ANK, IA, FWD, UBBM, etc. these get counted & added to the Raw Mail column. You can have mgmt count them before you depart to route or take them for a ride to handle in your EOS duties (adds extra time).

2022年6月28日 · Unfortunately, it's pretty hit and miss on which state you work in for political mail. Sometimes the spring counts receive special election materials. Other times the fall periods offer opportunities for additional ubbm separation.

2023年2月25日 · The ONLY things being counted on returning to the office is what you pulled from the DPS (CFS, 3M, UBBM, Hold Mail, etc) and your Inverted mail (likely just kept track on route). All of the handling in office of accountables, endorsing, dumping outgoing, etc is included all year long in your End of Shift Duties (scanner timed function).

2023年2月25日 · All mail is a street fuction, we don't deliver it to the case and it stays. Dps was created to be in street order to be in line of each box so you could take it straight to the street. With that said like everything else at the place its far from a perfect world and we have everything else in it as well misthrows forwards vac ubbm etc so now ...

2022年8月20日 · If carriers take DPS mail directly to the street, all the DPS mail they bring back, because it is out of sequence or otherwise not deliverable (hold mail, forwardable mail, missorted mail, etc.), is recorded in Column 2, Letter Size. The fact that the carrier may elect to case that mail during the mail count does not change the recording procedure.

2024年8月26日 · In the Metris, I keep a half tray on the floorboard on the left side of the vehicle. I put outgoing mail in the right hand side cubby on the dash, and as it fills up, I put it in the half tray. I put all the UBBM, ANK, etc in the middle bin on the dash. I write the appropriate ANK, UTF, etc on the envelope first.
