2022年4月20日 · The UXG would be the direct replacement to the USG 4P and the USG 3P. The USG 3P doesn't currently have a direct replacement in it's form factor. The UDR, UDM, UDM Pro and UDM Pro SE are the "All in one" devices with built in controllers, and for 2Gbps Internet you'd need a UDM Pro or UDM Pro SE, or the UXG.

2022年8月4日 · I have a USG 3P running as a router for a couple of Unifi APs. Normally I get my full bandwidth of 1000/1000mpbs, but all of a sudden my max throughput is 100mpbs without changes to the configuration. After a restart it starts utilizing the full bandwidth again. This is the third time this has happend. DPI, IDS/IPS and Smart Queues are disabled.

2023年7月26日 · My Xfinity craps out quite frequently. When it does, my AT&T 5g hotspot takes over. All of my Apple Home devices continue to work. And a used USG-Pro-4 is still cheaper than a UDM-Pro / SE. From my personal experience, used equipment has rarely failed me. But I am careful researching products, and the eBay seller’s reputation.

2021年1月13日 · Plug your internet connection (cable modem etc) into the WAN port on the USG. Using your computer connected to the USG go to 192.168.1.1 and perform the basic internet connection setup. Confirm that the USG is now online and you have internet access through it. Now it is time to update to the latest firmware! Open your favorite SSH client.

Thank you for this post. My USG 3P power supply died last night just suddenly. The PSU light was 'strobing' under load and with each bright 'strobe' the USG would chirp. I figure that the chirping was coming from a capacitor on the USG board being charged and discharged rapidly due to the PSU not supplying constant current.

2020年5月27日 · The USG comes with a pretty standard power supply rated at 12V 1A. The size of the plug is often used with external hard drives and LED light strips. Probably the easiest way to get a compatible power supply would be to find a power supply rated at 12V with at least 1A for LED light strips or external hard drives.

It's applicable to USG: Offloading is used to execute functions of the router using the hardware directly, instead of a process of software functions. The benefit of offloading in EdgeOS is increased performance and throughput by not depending on the CPU for forwarding decisions. Offloading can be turned on the USG in advanced options.
